I have read in a german railway magazine that in the area of Tiraspol'
and Bendery (Thigina) the passenger traffic is limited. Following is a
resume of the article:
All international long distance trains from Moscow, St. Peterburg and
Odesa end in Rozdil'na, as there are no customs facilities. The local
traffic toward Bendery is kept with few diesel units, on which only
local residents are allowed to travel. Foreigners have to take the bus.
Only freight traffic can cross the ucrainian-moldavian border at
Can anybody confirm the present situation as in the timetables there are
still direct trains running between Moldova and Ukraine, Russia,
crossing the border between Rozdil'na and Kuchugran, published.
Best regards from Slovenia.
